UltrAspire athlete, Molly Cuevas, set to finish 3,000 mile run
June 25, 2019
Molly Cuevas is less than 200 miles from completing a run across America in fundraising effort
St. George, Utah. Molly Cuevas, the 25 year old from the Bay Area of California, who has been trained by UltrAspire Elite athlete, Bree Lambert, has almost completed her journey across the United States. Molly began in Santa Monica, California on April 1, 2019 and is scheduled to end in Montauk, New York, on Saturday, June 29th. She has been running across the United States in an attempt to raise $50,000 in funds to benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF).
In preparation for this enormous feat, Molly trained with Bree Lambert, in California. Bree knows that Molly was prepared well as they “concentrated on core work/strength training and consistent run training months in advance.” Bree ran with Molly the first week of this endeavor and helped Molly establish the structure that she needed in order to get the 35-40 miles in every day. “Molly is a mentally tough girl and ultimately having the mental focus paired with support from her mom, Jillian, and family has contributed to the success of her goal” Lambert stated.
Molly is nearing the finish, both in miles and donations. But, she isn’t there, yet. She will be crossing the finish line into Montauk, New York, on Saturday June 29th and still needs donations to reach $50,000 in support. Her intention through this journey has been promote inclusion, spread awareness and unite people along the way.
