Limited Charity Entries Remain Benefiting the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House
LOS ANGELES, CA – December 6, 2017 – Conqur Endurance Group today announced that general registration for the second annual Pasadena Half Marathon at the Rose Bowl is sold out, seven weeks in advance of the January 21st race. More than 10,000 participants are expected on race day with the half marathon field doubling in size from the inaugural race.
This is the second-consecutive sellout on Conqur’s 2017-18 race calendar, following the Santa Monica Classic which reached capacity more than five weeks before race day.
“With the finish on the field at the Rose Bowl and iconic course through Pasadena, this is a unique event,” said Murphy Reinschreiber, Chief Operating Officer at Conqur Endurance Group. “We’re excited that it has been so well received by the running community and looking forward to providing a great race day experience.”
With general entries for the half marathon closed, there are a limited number of charity entries remain. These entries, which require payment of the entry fee plus a minimum $50 donation, will benefit the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House, the event’s official charity partner.
Limited entries also remain for Pasadena 5K at the Rose Bowl and the Rose Bowl Rush Kids Run, which also take place January 21st; limited entries remain for both events. Like the Half Marathon, both races finish on the field at Rose Bowl.
The Health & Fitness Expo kicks off the weekend festivities on Friday, January 19th and Saturday, January 20th at the Pasadena Convention Center where brands will showcase their products and services. The Health and Fitness Expo is open to the public and admission is free.

About The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House
The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House® is a “home-away-from-home” for families with sick or injured children, keeping them close to the doctors and medical care their child needs. The House is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest.
The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House has 12 bedrooms and is located across the street from Huntington Memorial Hospital. Families staying at the House have access to a fully stocked pantry, meals prepared by volunteer groups, computers, a large yard with outdoor seating and a playground. Activities are coordinated by the House with volunteer groups to help families cope while their child is receiving treatment. Those activities have included pet therapy, recreational activities and parties. Since opening on Valentine’s Day in 2004 the House has served more than 20,400 families. The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House is a program of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. For more information, please visit our website at www.rmhcsc.org/Pasadena.
