March 16th race expected to sell out at 4,200 participants
SARASOTA, Fla., March 6, 2014 – Registrations for this year’s 9th Annual First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon & Relay, produced and presented by Life Time – The Healthy Way of Life Company, have already exceeded last year’s record 3,500 participants and race organizers are expecting it to sell out at 4,200 prior to the March 16th race day.

The First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon & Relay Race features a fast and scenic course filled with PR’s for both runners and walkers. There is also a male/female push rim wheelchair division for the Half Marathon. The Relay Race follows the same course with the transition area near Van Wezel on N. Tamiami & 10th Street. The course limit is 4 hours (18 mins/mile) making it truly runner and walker friendly.
The First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon & Relay, previously owned by US Road Sports, is now owned and operated by Life Time, The Healthy Way of Life Company (NYSE: LTM). Life Time acquired US Road Sports and Entertainment Group in January 2014, and is now producing the First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon & Relay as well as the Miami Marathon, The New Jersey Marathon, The Salt Lake City Marathon and others around the country.
