The capital city of Malaysia provides the dramatic backdrop for this GFNY race

/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – This Sunday, GFNY Kuala Lumpur offers racers a 129.1 km long course which will take riders from the heart of the city, into the hilly outskirts and back to Jalan Raja for a total of 1726m of climbing. The finish line will be at the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

“A huge thank you to the city of Kuala Lumpur to make this race in their metropolis happen,” says GFNY CEO Uli Fluhme. “GFNY riders get to enjoy an incredible experience on roads fully closed to traffic amidst the sky scraper of Malaysia’s capital.”

Race week activities include the GFNY Festival, Expo and registration on Saturday. The capital city of Malaysia will offer a wide variety of food and shopping options which will excite and surprise GFNY riders, families and friends who get to experience everything from glitzy shopping malls and fine dining to markets and street food. Kuala Lumpur is a true gem of Southeast Asia.

Michelob ULTRA GFNY World Championship NYC

The 12th annual Michelob ULTRA GFNY World Championship New York will be held on May 19, 2024. The race features the world’s most international peloton with riders from over 90 countries. It is so international, it’s often described as the United Nations of cycling. Athletes take on a challenging route to compete against each other, the clock and themselves in a personal endurance challenge.

Cycling – Pro Racing

Gran Premio New York City is the inaugural UCI 1.2 pro race on May 19, 2024. 25 professional teams will race the same course as riders at the Michelob ULTRA GFNY World Championship NYC – but with a 15 minute head start.

Running Marathons

GFNY Marathons bring the same concept and quality of the cycling races to running, whether it’s giving each runner a BE A PRO FOR A DAY experience. GFNY Marathons are officially measured half- and full-marathon courses and as such, serve as qualifiers for Boston, NYC and the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
