RunSignup Year in Review Reveals 20% Growth in 2018

January 15th, 2019

RunSignup has released their 2018 Year in Review, detailing the growth of the company in customers and technological progress. The core growth statistics include providing services to 17,686 races with 5,000,000+ paid registrations and $211,000,000+ in transactions processed. This represented about a 20% increase in registrations since 2017. RunSignup had 1,324 releases of software in 2018, with major including:

  • A new Race CRM interface for seamless connection with customers
  • Multi-race bundles for powerful cross-promotion of races
  • A new RaceDay CheckIn App for a more efficient RaceDay experience
  • A partner dashboard for one-stop tracking of statistics
  • RaceDay Scoring for timers ready for a modern, next generation scoring system
  • 100% uptime

In addition to releasing new features, RunSignup re-branded in 2018, revealing a new logo, a wholistic view of the full lifecycle of races, and an intentional focus on technology as an art form.

Looking to 2019, RunSignup identified several areas of emphasis for continued technology enhancements. RaceDay Scoring and the Race CRM will continue to move forward, with greater functionality for the scoring system and more marketing options within the Race CRM. In 2019, look for the ability for a race to use custom domains for a RunSignup website, allowing for personal URL’s to be used while capturing the power of a live, dynamic website. Additionally, the 7,000 nonprofit organizations who currently work with RunSignup will see enhancements that make it easier to manage their information on the platform – and to raise more money.
