Trust Performance Announces Distribution in Germany, Austria and Poland
January 14, 2020
Shocker Distribution becomes the official distribution partner of Trust Performance in Germany and Austria, while EMTB takes on distribution efforts in Poland.
(Salt Lake City, UT – January 14, 2020) – Trust Performance, innovators in suspension technology, announced today a partnership with German / Austrian distributor Shocker Distribution and Polish distributor EMTB. Starting today, dealers in these countries will be able to place orders for both of Trust Performance’s multi-link front suspension platforms, the 130mm trail-focused Message as well as the enduro-oriented 178mm Shout.
“Establishing a presence in Germany, Austria and Poland is a huge accomplishment for us; it comes at a great time when we’re seeing a lot of rider interest from European riders,”remarked Trust Performance Global Sales Manager, Rob Aguero.“We’re thrilled to be working with these excellent distribution and service partners and look forward to serving these key markets.”
For more than a decade, Shocker Distribution has provided German and Austrian dealers with the most innovative cycling products on the market. They demonstrate deep product expertise and a commitment to the brands they serve. Shocker Distribution will oversee distribution and service for German and Austrian consumers/dealers and manage various aspects of sales and marketing. Austria-based LemonShox will serve as the authorized Trust Performance service center for German and Austrian customers.
Poland-based EMTB plays a similar role in the Polish market, providing dealers with mountain bike products that solve many of the problems mountain bikers face while riding. Their goal: provide riders with the best gear to ensure a distraction-free ride on any trail. EMTB serves as both the authorized distributor and authorized service center for Trust Performance in Poland.
“Shout and Message solve many problems of front suspension which were overlooked by other manufacturers for years,” remarks Maciej Pająk. “As mountain bikers ourselves, we are amazed by these new opportunities and, as a distributor, we are eager to provide these advancements to other mountain bikers throughout Poland.”
In 2018, Trust Performance launched Message, a carbon fiber multi-link front suspension design offering trail riders 130mm of contour travel. In 2019, Trust Performance followed up with Shout, a similar system that offers 178mm of contour travel for aggressive trail and enduro riders. Unlike a traditional telescopic front suspension design, Trust Performance multi-link suspension incorporates a leverage ratio via a linkage assembly. In essence, this allows the front of the mountain bike to realize the benefits that full suspension bikes have enjoyed for years.
When encountering an obstacle, the front wheel does not move in line with the steering axis; instead, the linkage assembly allows the axle to move back and up simultaneously, creating contour travel enhances tire contact. And because mechanical trail measurements actually increase as the suspension moves through its travel, the rider experiences noticeably improved traction, added stability, and more predictable handling in a wide variety of trail conditions.
