Tokyo 2020 delay set to cost organisers US$1.9bn
Organisers of the rescheduled Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games are estimating that the event’s postponement will cost 200 billion yen (US$1.9 billion). Additional costs include expenses related to securing Games venues, equipment rental and storage fees, and expenditures on labour. SportsPro
