Spots Remain for Second Half and Other Distances

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (JUNE 11, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Today, the San Francisco Marathon announced that the highly anticipated first half of its marquee event, the China Airlines Bridge Half Marathon, has officially sold out. Runners from around the globe have claimed every spot to tackle the iconic opening leg of the race, which takes participants across the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge.

This milestone marks the second major category to hit capacity for the upcoming race weekend, following the Full Marathon, which sold out in April.

While the Full Marathon and First Half are completely full, race organizers urge runners not to miss out on the weekend’s remaining events. Registration is still available for the Second Half Marathon, known as the “City Scenic” Half Marathon, which offers a stunning tour through Golden Gate Park, the vibrant Haight-Ashbury district, and a grand finish along the Embarcadero.

• The 10K & 5K Races: Fast, scenic routes perfect for those looking for a shorter distance, a personal best, or a fun family activity.
