Performance Nutrition Company Trusted by Pro and College Teams Extends Endurance Roster by Adding U.S. Olympic Triathlon Team Qualifier

(JACKSON HOLE, WY—June 16, 2021) – Momentous, a premium sports nutrition company known for its line of NSF-certified protein powders and supplements, has teamed up with leading triathlete Morgan Pearson. He joins an elite team that also includes leading runners Emma Coburn, Emma Bates, and Molly Seidel, climber Alex Honnold, CrossFit Games champion Sam Briggs, and New York Giants All-Pro tight end Kyle Rudolph.

“I’m excited to team up with Momentous,” Pearson said. “I use their recovery protein after training and to help me bounce back between sessions. I also take Momentous Collagen Peptides every day and it’s helping me continue training hard while I manage an Achilles tendon issue. As Momentous is NSF Certified for Sport, I have peace of mind knowing that I’m supplementing with clean products that are free of banned substances and contaminants.”

Pearson, a former distance runner from New Vernon, NJ, transitioned to triathlon after winning the men’s overall title at the 2017 USA Triathlon Age Group Sprint National Championships. In his first race as an elite triathlete, Pearson placed seventh at the 2018 Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup, marking one of the best elite debuts by an American male triathlete. Later that year, USA Triathlon named Pearson as the 2018 Rookie of the Year. Since then, he has achieved multiple international podium finishes, earned a top-10 worldwide ranking, and won a silver medal at the 2020 ITU Triathlon Mixed Relay World Championships.

Tapping into his running roots, Pearson continues to challenge himself with cross country and road races as a way to gain experience and elevate his multisport performance. Pearson placed first overall at the 2019 USA Track & Field Club Cross Country Championships, and he won the 2020 Michigan Pro Half Marathon in his debut at the distance. Earlier this year, he was selected as a member of the national team by USA Triathlon. With his bronze-medal performance at last month’s World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) in Yokohama, Pearson achieved his long-time goal of qualifying for his first Olympic Team. Pearson added a second career WTCS medal weeks later, a silver in Leeds, becoming the first U.S. man in history to win multiple WTCS medals. Pearson looks forward to representing Team USA in the Individual Triathlon event and in the new Mixed Team Relay in Tokyo.

“We’re proud to partner with Morgan, who is not only a high-caliber athlete but also someone who shares our commitment to excellence,” said Momentous founder and CEO Matt Wan. “It’s a pleasure to support Morgan as he continues his push toward success this summer and beyond.”
