H2O Audio and Florence Drop the Limited-Edition Camo TRI 2

March 19, 2026

The Florence x H2O Audio collaboration returns in a new limited-edition camouflage colorway.

  • TWO BRANDS. ONE WATER.
  • NOW IN CAMO.

SAN DIEGO / NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (March 19, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/H2O Audio and Florence are releasing the Florence x TRI 2 Camo, a limited-edition camouflage colorway of their award-winning waterproof bone conduction headphone, available now at h2oaudio.com and florencemarinex.com for $149.99. The new colorway extends a collaboration that earned its credentials last year when Florence athlete Toa Pere finished second at the Molokai2Oahu Paddleboard World Championships wearing the original Florence x TRI 2.

“Dude, these are so sick. These are the same ones I used in Molokai — with the bone conduction. It’s like you’re immersed in the moment, but the music is still around you,” said Toa Pere, Florence athlete and M2O runner-up.

The Florence x TRI 2 Camo runs on H2O Audio’s open-ear bone conduction technology, rated IPX8 waterproof — built to withstand submersion to 12 feet (3.6 m) for an unlimited amount of time. An 8GB built-in MP3 player stores thousands of songs in most formats, including iTunes .M4A. On land, Bluetooth pairs to any smartphone or smartwatch. Underwater, MP3 mode keeps the music running. Battery life is six to nine hours. Earplugs are included for swimming use.

The open-ear design keeps athletes fully aware of their surroundings — in open water, on the road, and on the trail. In the ocean, that’s not a feature. It’s a necessity.

The partnership is rooted in shared territory. Florence was built around the ethos of founder John John Florence and designs utilitarian gear for athletes who live life on the water, in conditions that test equipment to its limits. Camouflage is a core part of Florence’s design language and a staple among Hawaiian ocean athletes and the broader outdoor endurance community. H2O Audio has spent over two decades building audio for those same environments. For both brands, the camo colorway isn’t a departure. It’s a natural next chapter.

“We’ve been building waterproof audio for over 20 years, but partnering with Florence is a different level for us,” said Kristian Rauhala, founder and CEO of H2O Audio. “Florence lives in the same water we do — they build for athletes who don’t back down from conditions, and that’s exactly who we build for. The camo colorway is bold, but underneath it is the same technology we’ve been refining for two decades. We’re proud of what this collaboration represents.”

“Florence gear is designed to perform in the places that test it hardest — open ocean, heavy conditions, no margin for failure,” said Pat O’Connell, president of Florence. “H2O Audio approaches audio the same way. This collaboration made sense the moment we started talking, and Toa wearing them at Molokai was the proof. We couldn’t be more fired up about what this headphone stands for.”
