Lego has finally created a road bike, and it’s made up of 1,015 pieces

May 6, 2026

LEGO has finally released a dedicated road‑bike model as part of its adult‑oriented Icons series: the LEGO Icons Road Bike (set 11380), made up of 1,015 pieces. It is positioned as the brand’s first large‑scale, fully functioning road‑bike build, aimed squarely at cycling enthusiasts and adult collectors rather than younger kids.

The bike captures the look of a modern aero road race bike, with a realistic frame shape, disc‑brake‑style calipers, clipless‑style pedals, and detailed aero wheels with visible “spokes.” It also includes working features such as a drivetrain with a chain, derailleurs, and a freewheel mechanism, so the pedals can be turned and the rear wheel will spin freely.

Once assembled, the model measures about 60 cm long, 36 cm high, and 19 cm wide, making it more of a display piece than a small shelf trinket. It comes with a stand that resembles a smart trainer, letting you pedal the bike in place while it sits on a desk or mantle. The set is available for preorder via LEGO’s own site and third‑party retailers such as Amazon and select toy chains, with shipments expected from June 2026. Cycling Weekly
