About the New Team Members

Rod Foley
A career that began in the Big 6 Accounting world at Arthur Andersen & Co. took a sudden left turn into the world of running.  Rod has spent the last 25+ years of his life dedicated to leading teams that create the things that make being active just a little bit easier. Whether that is running gear or volleyball shoes at brands like Mizuno, Under Armour or Descente, or court shoes for Frank Works – a brand he cofounded with two longtime friends, Rod has always deeply appreciated the chance to work on things that people use during their favorite part of their day.  With FRESHJUNKIE, Rod is eager to contribute to a company that is laser-focused on delivering events that make being active rewarding and joyful.

Matt Booth
Matt was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and has spent most of his life there. He’s worked in the running business for 15 years including stints at Mizuno and New Balance, as well as several races for FRESHJUNKIE Racing dating back to 2016.

FRESHJUNKIE Racing continues to experience strong growth across its event portfolio, including marquee races such as the Louisiana Marathon, Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon, War Eagle Run Fest, and the Battleship 12K. The addition of Foley and Booth reflects the organization’s commitment to elevating the participant experience while delivering measurable impact for partners and host communities.
