(May 4, 2023) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN® Florida triathlon, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North America Series, will celebrate the 25th edition when it returns on Nov. 4, 2023. Since its debut in 1999, the event has become the longest consecutively running full-distance IRONMAN event in North America. In honor of this momentous occasion, a series of special activations will take place throughout race week leading up to the event, including a participant signing wall, an alumni class photo in front of the illuminated SkyWheel at Pier Park, and a celebratory finish line celebration. Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN Florida triathlon, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North America Series, has been a staple of the IRONMAN calendar for a quarter century, drawing athletes from all over the world to Panama City Beach, Florida to experience its welcoming community, world-class beaches, and family-friendly amenities. Athletes will embark on a 2.4-mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico around the Russell-Fields Pier, traverse a flat and fast, one-loop, 112-mile bike course through scenic routes, and a 26.2-mile run along the beautiful Emerald Coast shoreline before culminating with a dramatic finish line at iconic Pier Park.

The 2023 Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN Florida triathlon, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North America Series will offer qualifying slots to the 2024 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship, with the Women’s race in Nice, France on Sept. 22, 2024, and the men’s race in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i on Oct. 26, 2024.
