Venture Endurance’s Fargo Marathon Names Essentia Health as Title Sponsor

Healthcare Provider to Support the Annual Event with a Three-Year Commitment

McLean, VA – December 17, 2021 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Fargo Marathon, which is owned Ventures Endurance, part of Gannett’s USA TODAY NETWORK Ventures, today announced a three-year title sponsorship deal with Essentia Health. Essentia Health is an integrated health system serving patients and communities, focusing on making a healthy difference in people’s lives. This sponsorship will emphasize the importance of activity and wellness for participants in the Fargo-Moorhead area of North Dakota. The 18th annual event will take place from May 16, 2022, through May 21, 2022.

The Fargo Marathon, established in 2005, is an annual week-long event, attracting thousands of participants from across the United States to North Dakota. The celebration of endurance events includes several races such as: Fargo Marathon, Fargo Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Youth Run, Fargo Dog Run, and the Cyclothon. Starting at the Fargodome, the events tour Fargo and Moorhead’s residential and historic downtown streets, college campuses, and trails along the Red River. Participants can enjoy entertainment from more than 50 live bands and DJs and take part in multiple block parties throughout each route.

Online registration for the 2022 Fargo Marathon sponsored by Essentia Health is open through the morning of each individual event. Upon registration, participants will receive branded swag, including a running jacket, a premium quarter-zip jacket, or a commemorative long-sleeve t-shirt.

Additionally, the 2022 Fargo Marathon will continue its Shoes for Kids Campaign in partnership with Scheels. All donations received during registration will provide shoes to children of all ages, encouraging lifelong health and wellness. Since its inception in 2010, the Fargo Marathon has donated over 10,000 pairs of shoes to the community.
