Venue Partners with Discover Lehigh Valley on Successful Bid for Events

BREINIGSVILLE, Pennsylvania – The Valley Preferred Cycling Center, working in close partnership with Discover Lehigh Valley, has been awarded the 2020 Masters and Para Track National Championships. The events will take place June 30th through July 5th, 2020 with a more detailed schedule to be released at a later date.

“We are very excited to welcome the Masters and Para-cycling communities to the Valley Preferred Cycling Center for what is sure to be a thrilling week of competition in the legendary concrete crater.   The Lehigh Valley offers a wide array of family friendly activities, wonderful dining options and incredible road riding in addition to our iconic track. We are looking forward to sharing all of it with our guests.  We have a particularly passionate masters racing community at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center – many of whom have just returned from successful trips to the UCI Masters Track World Championships in Manchester, England-  and we are looking forward to cheering them on on their home track. Having para-cycling athletes joining us is also incredibly exciting and we hope to use this as a springboard to offering more regular racing and training opportunities for para athletes at our venue” said VPCC Executive Director Joan Hanscom.

Bree Nidds, Vice President of Sales for Discover Lehigh Valley stated, “The Lehigh Valley is a premiere sports destination and welcoming athletes from all over the country for the Masters and Para Track National Championships in 2020 is a great honor. We look forward to celebrating the thrill of competition together with our partners at the Velodrome and USA Cycling this year and hopefully beyond.”
