US Trail Running Conference Marks 12th Anniversary in Knoxville, A Trail Enthusiast’s Paradise

Industry leading event moves to Tennessee for the first time

/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ Active at Altitude, the organizers behind the acclaimed US Trail Running Conference, proudly reveal Knoxville, Tennessee, as the host for the 2024 USTRC. In recent years, Knoxville has been focused on increasing access to the outdoors and showcasing the natural beauty of the surrounding areas which include the Smoky Mountains and the area’s largest picturesque lakes.

Within the Urban Wilderness managed spaces, attendees will discover 11 trailhead destinations, offering unique and varied terrain with spectacular views. Among the options is the popular Battlefield Loop at the William Hastie Natural Area features two natural lakes, a pristine quarry, and a bluff overlooking the University of Tennessee, one of the nation’s oldest state universities.

As the US Trail Running Conference proudly marks its 12th anniversary, the milestone event will bring together trail running race organizers, enthusiasts, industry leaders, and professionals for an immersive, educational and fun in-person experience. Registration for the 2024 event, set to take place from October 23 to 25, will open in January 2024.

Attendees can anticipate updated content and a revamped organizational structure, promising an unforgettable celebration of trail running excellence. The conference will be held in partnership with Visit Knoxville Sports Commission and the American Trail Running Association.
