US Trail Running Conference announces Clare Gallagher as Keynote Speaker for 2021 event

Endurance athlete and environmental advocate to open industry leading Conference in Fayetteville, AR

Estes Park, CO Active at Altitude, organizers of the US Trail Running Conference, announces Clare Gallagher as the keynote speaker for this years edition of the industry-leading event. Gallagher is an ultrarunner and environmental advocate living in Boulder, CO. After studying impacts of climate change on coral reefs at Princeton, she transitioned to running long distances in the mountains. She has won Western States 100 and Leadville 100, and is a Patagonia global sports activist. Clare has also testified at Colorados state capital on air quality and renewable energy bills and also advocates for climate policy at the national level.

The US Trail Running Conference is an annual event that provides education, inspiration, and unique networking opportunities for trail race directors and trail runners. The 2021 edition
returns to Fayetteville, AR, on October 27-30, 2021, and is held in partnership with the
American Trail Running Association, and is presented by UltraSignup and Spartan Trail. The mission of the US Trail Running Conference is to lead, educate, connect and empower an inclusive family of trail runners, race directors and industry leaders working to share best practices with the trail running community.

From forest fires to extreme heat and flooding, the need for collective action to combat the climate crisis has never been greater. Im grateful the trail running community is actively trying to be a positive force through this and Im looking forward to speaking at this years conference,adds keynote speaker Clare Gallagher.
