Tough Mudder to Host First-Ever 24-Hour OCR World Championships

Event Will Take Place at World’s Toughest Mudder Gulf Coast on Nov. 12 - 13

BOSTON, Mass. (June 10, 2022)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Tough Mudder, the global leader in obstacle course adventures, today announced that World’s Toughest Mudder (WTM) has been sanctioned as the 24-Hour OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) World Championships. The event will take place in Atmore, Ala. on Nov. 12 – 13, 2022, and will bring together some of the world’s top athletes for a weekend of competition during which world champions will be crowned.

The 24-Hour OCR World Championships will take place as part of the World’s Toughest Mudder 2022 event. Athletes competing for podium positions, prize money, and world records at the championship event can register through Tough Mudder and must qualify as contenders in accordance with World’s Toughest Mudder rules. Additionally, athletes of all ability levels can register to participate in the “open” and “team” categories at the event.
