Tough Mudder Colorado Unveils 5K Distance and Event for Dogs

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Aug. 1, 2019 –Tough Mudder, the global fitness and active lifestyle brand, is returning to Colorado with its 2019 Tough Mudder Colorado on August 10-11. The event is offering more than ever, with new distances, a revamped Mudder Village Festival and more partnership activations than ever before.

Tough Mudder Colorado will take place at Sterling Ranch in Littleton, Colorado, roughly 40 minutes south of Denver, offering Rocky Mountain vistas and mud-soaked rolling hills. For the first time at Tough Mudder Colorado, a new 5K event will cram 13 unique obstacles into a shorter distance than the original Tough Mudder Classic. The untimed, teamwork-focused event is ideal for first-timers who want to do something new with their weekend.
Tough Mudder 5K joins Tough Mudder Classic, an 8-10-mile loop of mud-soaked mayhem with 25 best-in-class obstacles, Mini Mudder, a mile-long obstacle course specifically designed for adventure-seeking children, and the new Ruff Mudder, an event for the toughest of pups. Coupled with a revamped Mudder Village Festival featuring local food, cold beer, live entertainment, lawn games, giveaways and more, the events provide a day of fun for the whole family.
