March 25, 2021
Guiding Company Harnesses Passions to Raise Funds for ALS & Alzheimer’s Research
Top Out Adventures, a premier adventure travel guide company based in Dallas, is proud to announce their partnership with Run 2 Revive, a leading non-profit dedicated to ending both Alzheimer’s and ALS disease – two devastating neurodegenerative disorders. Says Top Out founder Dave Smithey of the partnership: “our mission as an organization is to create a positive impact, through travel, in the lives of others and the communities we serve. Working with Run 2 Revive aligns perfectly with Run 2 Revive’s goals to inspire achievement beyond perceived limits, promote mind & body wellness, and fight Alzheimer’s & ALS.”
Smithey goes on to explain that “ several of our team members have watched loved ones suffer due to debilitating neurological diseases. To watch a family member lose who they are due to a neurological disorder is a wakeup call to live life now and embrace those you love.” Participants in Top Out Adventures trips who fundraise for Run 2 Revive will receive discounts on their trips. The partnership will serve as a development channel for Run 2 Revive, and support Top Out Adventures mission to positively impact lives.
Top Out Adventure itineraries for this year include multi day trips in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the Sierra Madres of Mexico and the Himalayas of Nepal. Led by seasoned and highly experienced guides Austin Smith, Kris Cargile and Steven Aderholt, these small group adventures are all inclusive and designed with participant safety at the forefront.
