/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/- Adventure Enablers is excited to open registration for its 2023 running of the Shenandoah Epic 24-hour adventure race. The race is in its 11th year and is located in Front Royal, Virginia. The adventure race will start on April 15, 2023. Registration opened to VIP participants on October 1, 2022 and general registration opened on November 1, 2022.

The Shenandopah Epic is one of the longest running 24-hour events on the East Coast and has sold out at 300 participants over the past 2 years. Adventure racers can expect a full 24 hours of trekking, biking, paddling, and navigating through the Shenandoah Valley and Massanutten Mountain Range.

“For 2023, we’ve mixed up the format a bit, slowly ratcheting up the difficulty level as racers progress through the course,” said Race Director Mark Harris. As with most adventure races, teams will not know the exact course until the day of the race. Harris noted, “We do provide a detailed course outline a few months out to help participants train and prepare the right gear before showing up on race day.

“We likely will sell out again in 2023,” Harris added. “The Shenandoah Epic has proven to be a hugely popular, must-do event.”

More information about the event and links to registration can be found on the Adventure Enablers web site at www.AdventureEnablers.com. Any question regarding the event can be sent to info@adventureenablers.com.
