January 18, 2023

Boulder, CO – 18 December, 2022 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Stages Cycling, a leading cycling technology company, announced Factory Install service is now available for Shimano’s latest 12-speed Dura-Ace 9200 cranksets. Stages Factory Install service allows customers to send their existing crankset to be converted into an accurate, reliable Stages Power Meter.

Factory install service is available now on the drive-side Stages R crank arms and dual sided Stages LR cranksets for Shimano’s 12-speed groups. These feature a new power meter design including new strain gauge placement and sensors. Customers can purchase factory install service and send in their cranksets now for $529.99 and receive their new Stages Power meter in approximately 3 weeks.

In December, Stages began offering Factory Installed Dura-Ace R9200 and Ultegra R8100 power meters as single-sided, non-drive side Stages L units only, which is the same technology

ridden to countless professional wins including Tadej Pogacar’s 2020 Tour de France victory. Customers who have already purchased a left sided Stages Power meter for R9200 can purchase a factory install service for the drive side and pair it to their existing left side to create a dual sided unit.

Like all Stages Power meters, these Factory Install Service Dura-Ace units are built and individually calibrated in Boulder, Colorado to the same exacting standards of performance, accuracy and reliability as the rest of their product line, including the Stages Bike SB20 Smart Bike and models found in some of the biggest indoor cycling studios.

The current Gen 3 Stages Power technology features accuracy within 1.5 percent, active temperature compensation for consistent performance regardless of weather conditions, IPX7 water resistance, and user replaceable CR2032 batteries.

“We’re excited to offer a dual sided Stages Power meter on the latest Dura-Ace crankset,” said Pat Warner, Senior Vice President of Product Development. “Our top priority is providing cutting edge technology to help cyclists achieve their goals. This new model adds to the many tools Stages has to offer.”

The Dura-Ace 9200 crankset is compatible with all 12-speed Shimano Hollowtech II road bottom brackets.
