WHAT:

St. Jude Heroes® registration is now open for the 2021 St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend presented by Juice Plus+. On Saturday, Dec. 4, the marathon celebrates 20 years running, when thousands of participants from around the world plan to gather to show their support for the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: Finding cures. Saving children.®

Marathon participants can choose to be in Memphis to run Saturday, Dec. 4, or virtually participate that day from wherever they are. Participants can select the full marathon half marathon, 10K or 5K to run.

St. Jude Heroes get the opportunity to register early before general registration opens on June 1 due to their commitment to fundraising for St. Jude kids.  St. Jude Heroes also earn exclusive benefits and race weekend perks. To learn more about becoming a St. Jude Hero, visit stjude.org/heroes.

Marathon week kicks off Dec. 2-3 with the Health and Fitness Expo presented by Landers Auto Group. The names of St. Jude Heroes participating in the marathon also are added to the official pace car, a longstanding tradition for St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend.

WHY:

St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend presented by Juice Plus+ is the largest single day fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. The St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend is the pinnacle event for the St. Jude Heroes program, whose runners use their race to further lifesaving research and treatment for St. Jude kids. Together with the support of participants, donors, volunteers and more, St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
