Moorestown, NJ – RunSignup, the leading all-in-one platform for endurance and fundraising events, released an upgraded participant import tool to help events build a comprehensive database in their RunSignup Race CRM. The updated tool streamlines the process of importing participants from previous years to allow races to view and activate their data from every year of the race, in a single hub – regardless of registration platform.
During the import, race directors can opt to import bib numbers only (for participants already registered), do a manual import (use a simple form to add a small number of participants) or a do a CSV import (for importing large collections of data). Within the import process, a race director will walk through several screens to verify that the columns of data on their spreadsheet match fields in the RunSignup system, ensuring that the data imported is accurate and mapped correctly.
The import tool is key for race directors to maximize the value of their Race CRM, providing them with the data to segment participants, coordinate targeted email marketing campaigns, create coupon codes for specific groups, and track the progress of their events from year to year.
