Lifestyle bank with a focus on active clients will share its unique mission with Running USA members in future webinars
DETROIT (Oct. 8, 2019) – Running USA is pleased to announce that Atlanta-based FitnessBank is a new partner of the running industry’s non-profit trade organization.
A lifestyle bank available to online depositors nationwide that rewards healthy, active lives with higher interest rates, FitnessBank is expanding its reach and hopes to educate the running industry about the benefits of its affiliate fundraising programs.
“We’re pleased to welcome FitnessBank to our growing roster of supportive industry partners,” said Christine Bowen, vice president of programming, partnerships and operations for Running USA. “Their unique approach to rewarding active lifestyles is something we know our members will want to learn more about.”
“We want to be fun and encourage our members through healthy competition and financial gain,” said Ed Cooney, FitnessBank’s chief fitness officer. “We’re fortunate to be surrounded by great partners and organizations who share a similar approach to impacting the active lifestyle community.”
As part of the partnership agreement, Running USA will host two webinars with FitnessBank in the coming 12 months. Included in the presentations will be information about how events might partner with FitnessBank, which is looking to expand its reach into the sponsorship space.
“Instead of buying television and sponsoring golf tournaments, like traditional mega-banks – we intend to grow by delivering benefits to our member athletes, event partners and nonprofits,” shared Danny Bourgeois, marketing executive for FitnessBank and member of Running USA since 2011. “Our webinars will show how our model can be a win-win-win across the board.”
Stay tuned for webinar registration details, coming soon in this space.
