A Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Famer, Heveran has crossed over a 100 Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series finish lines reaching her milestone at the 2019 Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio and continuing on into 2020. Also, a founding member of Black Sheep Running Club, Heveran is a force when it comes to rounding up friends for fun at start lines all over the country. She shared her favorite perks of participating virtual racing with her fellow Rock ‘n’ Rollers on The Beat. “The number one thing that comes to mind about virtual racing (VR) for me is simply toeing the line,” said Herveran. “It can be super challenging just crossing the threshold of the door, and VR is motivation to do that—just get out of the house and put running shoes on. Now that I can stay in my pajamas it’s a whole new ball game, I have to be forced to get up and go!” Read more about Amy’s virtual racing advice on The Beat.
