September 12, 2017
International Footwear and Apparel Company 361 Degrees Comes in as the Title Sponsor of the Renegade Holiday Series
361 Degrees USA, an award winning footwear and apparel company, is partnering with Renegade Racing as the title sponsor of the Renegade Holiday Series, an annual holiday running series in Southern California. In its third year, the 361 Renegade Holiday Series consists of the Terrifying Ten-Miler, Spooky 5k, 10k & Kids Run in Dana Point on October 29, the San Dimas Turkey Trot on November 18, and the Renegade Santa Run on December 16 in Irvine. The events benefit We Run Orange County’s Kids, Strength in Support, and Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, respectively. Participants are able to register for all three events, and mix and match distances to fit their training plan and goals, for a set package price. Finishers of all three events earn a special medal to commemorate their accomplishment.
“361 Degrees has been lucky to work with Renegade Racing in the past and is now very excited to Title Sponsor the 2017 Renegade Holiday Series,” stated Jim Monahan, 361USA President. “As neighbors here in Orange County, we share a common goal of providing our local run community with a fantastic event experience. The 361 Renegade Holiday series will also be a great opportunity for the athletes to check out some of our latest releases in performance footwear and apparel. We can’t think of a better way to bring in the holiday season!”
“We started this series a few years ago as a way to tie all of these events together into a shared goal for participants. They have the option to mix and match distances, so they are able to train from walking the first 5K to running the last 10K, if they wish,” said Jonathan Pauley, managing partner and race director for Renegade Racing. “We are thrilled to have 361 on board as the title sponsor and are looking forward to this partnership enhancing the overall event experience for our participants. We love their shoes and apparel and know our participants will too.”
