Quintana Roo & Five-time Triathlon World Champ Craig Alexander Announce Multi-year Partnership
April 24, 2026

Chattanooga, TN, April 23, 2026 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Quintana Roo, the original triathlon brand and Official Supplier Partner of IRONMAN, today announced a landmark multi-year partnership with Craig “Crowie” Alexander — three-time Hawaii IRONMAN World Champion, two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion, and one of the most celebrated and influential athletes in the history of the sport. The partnership also encompasses Alexander’s Sansego Triathlon Club, the online coaching and training community he founded in 2014, bringing Quintana Roo’s industry-leading technology and race-day services to thousands of triathletes around the world.
A Champion Whose Record Speaks for Itself
Few athletes in endurance sport carry the pedigree of Craig Alexander. Early in his career, the Australian dominated the elite U.S. Olympic-distance circuit, winning major city races in Chicago (twice), Los Angeles, Boston (twice), and Philadelphia, claiming the prestigious single-season “Triple Crown” in 2004, and recorded more than 50 victories at the half-distance IRONMAN level, Alexander then claimed the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship title in 2006. In 2008 and 2009, Alexander captured back-to-back IRONMAN World Championship titles on the Big Island. He returned to Kona in 2011 to claim his third World Championship title — and in doing so, shattered the existing course record that had stood for 15 years. That same year, he also captured his second IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, making him one of the rare athletes to win both world titles in a single season.
Partnership Extends to Sansego Triathlon Club
Central to the partnership is its scope beyond Alexander as an individual athlete. Since founding the Sansego Triathlon Club in 2014, Alexander has built one of the sport’s most respected athlete communities, guiding more than 7,600 triathletes of all abilities to breakthrough performances. The club offers personalized training plans and one-on-one coaching from a team of world-class trainers. Alexander – himself an IRONMAN U Master Coach – serves as the club’s founder and executive coach, overseeing training plans and engaging directly with members through a dedicated Q&A platform, live webinars, and in-person experiences at select events. The partnership with Quintana Roo will extend exclusive member benefits to Sansego athletes, connecting the club’s growing global community with the brand’s advanced bike technology and race-day support services.
“To have an athlete of Craig’s stature — someone who has stood on the top step of the Kona podium three times — choose to partner with Quintana Roo is a validation that means the world to us. We are thrilled to welcome Craig and the entire Sansego community into the Quintana Roo family,” said Quintana Roo president and CEO Chris Pascarella. “I’ve had the good fortune of spending time with Craig at events over the past year, and more recently during a visit he made to our headquarters. What struck me most was how genuine his curiosity was — he wanted to understand not just what we build, but how and why we build it. That kind of authentic interest in what we do, and the care he brought to really learning the brand, told me everything I needed to know. This is a partnership built on real shared values, and we couldn’t be more excited about what we’ll accomplish together.”
Says Alexander: “I’ve been around this sport long enough to know the difference between talking about performance and actually living it. Riding the V-PRi illustrates to me what Quintana Roo is achieving as a leading bike manufacturer. It’s genuinely the best cycling technology in the sport right now. Visiting the Quintana Roo facility and seeing its operation up close was eye-opening. The level of engineering, attention to detail, and genuine passion for triathlon that permeates the entire organization is something special, and I’m thrilled that our Sansego athletes now have access to it. I’m proud to be part of the Quintana Roo family.”
