March 7th, 2019

Leadville CO, June 28-30, 2019

Boulder, CO: Performance Tea, the better tea, powered by adaptogens, and leaders in using tea to power incredible athletic achievements announced today that they will be hosting a high-altitude trail running training camp in Leadville, CO between June 28-30, 2019.

“We are thrilled to announce this first year training camp,” says Performance Tea CEO, Joe Gagnon.  “At Performance Tea, our mission is to help people achieve their potential and this is the perfect opportunity to introduce our products to camp participants to show how adaptogenic tea can support you when you are pushing your limits.”  Gagnon stated, “This is a true first-hand opportunity to experience what it is like to run at 10,000 feet and hear from experts in various disciplines how to prepare for and perform in strenuous conditions.”

Co-leader and pro ultra runner, Don Reichelt, says “The inaugural PT high altitude camp will be an incredible weekend. The camp will be intimate and will have an engaging agenda covering all aspects of trail running. The runs are challenging but also achievable for runners of all skill levels and without race-day pressure.  We will have nutrition products optimized for high-altitude throughout the weekend, and we will have our support vehicles at the ready. When we are not running, there will be time for delicious meals and conversation, along with presentations and discussions book-ending our runs.”

The entire weekend will be captured on video with a “camp video” for all participants to have after the camp. Performance Tea adaptogen and CBD products will be available throughout the weekend sharing information on how natural products can help with performance and recovery at higher altitudes.
