Panamá to Host the IRONMAN 70.3 Latin America Triclub Championship in 2024

PANAMÁ CITY, Panamá / TAMPA, Fla. (May 16, 2023)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – IRONMAN today announced that the IRONMAN® 70.3® Panamá triathlon presented by Heineken 0.0 taking place on February 25, 2024, will be designated as the 2024 Latin America TriClub Championship. Panamá will be stop #1 on the 2024 Global IRONMAN TriClub Championship Series and will be Panama’s second time hosting the event. Ten events across five regions made up the Global TriClub Championship Series in 2023, including IRONMAN 70.3 Panamá presented by Heineken 0.0 triathlon, Athletic Brewing IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside triathlon, IRONMAN 70.3 Marbella triathlon, IRONMAN Australia triathlon, IRONMAN 70.3 Victoria triathlon, Carilion Clinic IRONMAN 70.3 Virginia’s Blue Ridge triathlon, Maytag IRONMAN 70.3 Steelhead triathlon, IRONMAN 70.3 Maine triathlon, IRONMAN Wisconsin triathlon, part of the VinFast North America Series, and IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Princesa triathlon.

The Global TriClub Championship Series is the yearly highpoint of the IRONMAN TriClub Program. Globally all clubs registered with IRONMAN have the opportunity to compete for the ultimate prize – being crowned a TriClub Champion. Championship events feature exclusive benefits and the chance to compete against other clubs. Introduced in 2012, the IRONMAN TriClub Program was designed to help bring together the triathlon community through the growth of triathlon clubs, while providing networking and friendly competition opportunities.
