Oakland Running Festival Welcomes Under Armour as Official Shoe & Apparel Partner

Under Armour to kick off partnership with an open-to-all Last Long Run at Renegade Running on Saturday, February 26; Eat. Learn. Play. Kid’s Run participants receive finisher’s medal, shirt & more; all registered participants receive Under Armour discounts to help gear up for race weekend.

OAKLAND, Calif. – (February 23, 2023) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Oakland Running Festival welcomes Under Armour as its Official Shoe and Apparel partner for the March 17–19 event. With its long-standing involvement in the Oakland community, Under Armour’s partnership will kick off with a free, open-to-all “Last Long Run” at the venerable Renegade Running specialty run store, conveniently located near Lake Merritt on Sunday, February 26.

At the Last Long Run, participants will get a first look and the opportunity to try on Under Armour’s Flow Velocitti Elite and will get a chance to win one of two head-to-toe running kits. “We’re excited to support the Oakland Running Festival community at every age and level to move not only on race weekend itself, but the preparation leading up to this running celebration,” said Under Amour’s Flynn Burch, Director of Community Impact.

On race weekend itself, youth participants in the Saturday, March 18 Eat. Learn. Play. Kid’s Run will receive participant shirts and other goodies, including a finisher’s medal, Under Armour cinch bag and water bottle. The event is limited to 500 kids and will sell out. Early registration is encouraged.

As for those tackling the streets of downtown Oakland in any of the event distances on Sunday, March 19, participants will receive exclusive Under Armour discounts to help them gear up for race day. Registered participants can look out for their discount in event related emails.
