TAMPA, Fla. (August 23, 2018) – The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series® is excited to announce Michelob ULTRA as the official title sponsor of the Michelob ULTRA Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon. The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 6-7, 2018.

The musically themed Michelob ULTRA Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon will feature two days of running beginning with the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose 5K presented by Brooks starting at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, followed by the half marathon on Sunday, October 7. While taking in some of the scenery surrounding California’s fastest half marathon, this flat course is jam packed with spectator support, boomin’ bands at every mile, and all new mile-markers that literally rock. The Michelob ULTRA Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon participants can take on the “Remix Challenge” by running both Saturday and Sunday to earn the coveted Remix Challenge medal in addition to each race’s finisher medals.
Race weekend kicks off with a Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, October 5 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 6 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, West Hall. The expo will showcase vendors featuring the latest in running gear, nutrition and training and is free and open to the public.
Runners will be treated to an exciting and scenic finish at the Plaza de Cesar Chavez in downtown San Jose where MarchFourth, the colorful explosion of brassy funk, rock, and jazz, will take to the Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series stage Sunday, Oct. 7 at 11:15 a.m. to celebrate the day’s accomplishments.
