New partnerships shine light on benefits of training in a swim spa

Fort Wayne, Ind. – October 1, 2019 – Building on its long-time relationship with IRONMAN, Master Spas is expanding its commitment to the sport of triathlon and multi-sport community in 2019.

The industry-leading swim spa manufacturer has brought on two world-class athletes as brand ambassadors — Mirinda Carfrae and Ben Hoffman — both of whom will be hitting the beach at Kona for the 2019 IRONMAN World Championships.

In addition, the brand has forged a new relationship with Taren Gesell, a well-known personality in the triathlon world. Known as Triathlon Taren, Gesell has a popular podcast and has generated millions of views on his YouTube channel dedicated to triathlon training.

“We’re excited to build these partnerships and further introduce Master Spas to the triathlon community,” says Kevin Richards, Vice President of Marketing and Sales. “Triathletes are goal-driven and looking for ways to better their performances. A swim spa by Master Spas can help them balance training, recovery, and family life.”

Master Spas manufactures two unique brands of swim spas, providing athletes of all levels a backyard pool alternative so they can train all year round. A swim spa by Master Spas allows triathletes the space to refine their swim technique, cross train, recover, and relax so that they feel their best on race day.

Expanding upon its Win Your Day campaign, Master Spas is encouraging everyone, including IRONMAN athletes, to be their best.

“We want every person, every athlete, to have the opportunity to be their best self — whether it’s reaching a fitness milestone or making it to the top of the podium,” Richards says.

Master Spas will offer the opportunity to test its newest swim spa, the H2X Fitness Swim Spa Challenger Series, in IRONMAN Village Monday, October 7, through Friday, October 11.

Professional triathletes Hoffman and Carfrae will also be participating in live Q+As in the Master Spas booth during race week. Hoffman’s appearance is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 8; and Carfrae will be answering questions at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 9.
