During the five-month build up to the 2021 Ironman World Championship in St. George Utah Mark provided insights into the ever-changing dynamic of the first Ironman World Championship held outside the state of Hawaii.

Now in the months leading up to the 2022 Ironman® Triathlon World Championship in Kona on October 6th & 8th 6X Ironman Triathlon World Champion Mark Allen will interview pro and age group athletes, endurance sport and industry insiders as well as comment on breaking stories and race updates weekly. “About Mark Allen”

Mark Allen won six Ironman World Championship titles in Hawaii, the last coming at age 37. Mark also won the International Triathlon Union’s inaugural World Championship at the Olympic distance in Avignon, France.

Mark was undefeated in ten trips to the Nice International Triathlon in France, and from 1988-1990 he put together a streak of 21 consecutive race wins at all distances of triathlons from the Olympic distance all the way up to Ironman.

Over the course of his endurance racing career Allen maintained a 90% average in top-three finishes. He was named “Triathlete of the Year” six times by Triathlete Magazine. Outside magazine tabbed him “The World’s Fittest Man” and he was also inducted into the Ironman Hall of Fame. He was voted “The Greatest Endurance Athlete of All Time” in a worldwide poll conducted by ESPN.
