Liz Dolan is 2021 Road Race Management Race Directors’ Meeting Keynote

Meeting set for November 15-17 in Hollywood, FL

May 26, 2021.- Liz Dolan is recognized as one the world’s leading marketers, having served as Chief Marketing Office at NIKE, The Oprah Winfrey Network, National Geographic and Fox Sports International. She was also on the marketing team that made the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup the most successful women’s sporting event in history.

Currently she leads Hayward Magic, a partnership of marketing + communications experts working to engage a new generation of young track and field athletes and fans. She is also on the Board of Directors of World Athletic Championships Oregon22 and is a founding member of Oregon Sports Angels.

Liz has been named one of the 100 Most Powerful People in Sports, 100 Most Powerful Women in Cable, and Woman of the Year in Sports.

Liz is also a co-host and a co-creator of the long-running, award-winning podcast Satellite Sisters. A pioneering podcast for women, Satellite Sisters is part of Wondery/Amazon Music and has won 13 Gracie Allen Awards for excellence from American Women in Media.

Liz will discuss how the sport can better position itself in the future, create more energized fans and use digital media platforms to be a bigger part of popular sports culture.

The annual Road Race Management Race Directors Meeting and Trade Exhibit will take place in Hollywood, FL, November 15 – 17. The country’s oldest race directors meeting, this year’s edition features sessions on critical topics for running event directors and officials as the industry emerges from the over year-long havoc created by COVID-19. The meeting also offers networking opportunities and a chance for event directors to shop for equipment and service needs at the Trade Exhibit. The meeting will provide a chance to reconnect and learn from a difficult year.

  • Insurance (Jon Neill)

Two prestigious running industry awards will be presented at the meeting. The annual MarathonFoto/Road Race Management Race Director of the Year Award (Presented by MYLAPS) will be announced at the MarathonGuide.com/Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic Welcome Reception on November 15. The MarathonFoto/Road Race Management Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented at the Keynote Dinner on November 16.
