localeikki, a platform to help you stay active while traveling, is partnering with the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association for their Fall 2014 cross country season. NIRCA is the governing body and central point of communication for the college running community. The grassroots organization promotes networking and friendly competition amongst collegiate running, cross country, and track clubs.
“NIRCA is excited to welcome localeikki as a partner for 2014. localeikki’s goals of connecting athletes and making great activity more accessible are closely aligned with NIRCA’s mission of promoting club running for every college student in all facets – through competition, support, and networking,” says NIRCA Executive Director Greg Haapala.
localeikki’s involvement with NIRCA is one that grew organically as both organizations were looking for like-minded partners to help foster the growth of a community that they are both passionate about.
localeikki Co-Founder Taylor Thomas commented that the NIRCA partnership, “Is the perfect marriage of two organizations coming together with a common goal.” He also adds, “We’re excited to support the growth of the running community on all levels, and we hope to inspire NIRCA members to explore and engage in their community at home and on the road.”
This 2014 partnership will pave the way for what promises to be a relationship that will benefit the entire running community.
