iFit Connected Fitness Now Streaming Vietnam Cycling Series

July 1, 2020

(LOGAN, Utah) — iFit, the leading interactive, connected fitness technology, is now streaming its advanced, 15-part Vietnam Global Workout cycling series. iFit subscribers can virtually cycle through the country’s quaint towns, beautiful beaches and countryside while embarking on a challenging and information-filled workout.

For those riding on iFit-enabled cycles such as NordicTrack and ProForm, iFit provides a realistic virtual cycling experience as iFit automatically adjusts resistance, incline or decline throughout the workouts. For example, as you cycle the Hai Van Pass, you’ll feel your bike’s incline change to reflect the actual terrain. iFit takes advantage of the unique motorized incline and decline found on NordicTrack and ProForm cycles, the only brands in the home fitness market with this feature.

iFit’s series explores many culturally rich locations of Vietnam, including the famous Bamboo Bridge, Old Town, Marble Mountain and more. Led by iFit Trainer Casey Zaugg, the series focuses on increasing VO2 max, tempo training, improving endurance and tackling functional threshold power (FTP) workouts. The variation in the workouts is physically demanding, improves cardiovascular health and makes for an engaging series.

iFit Trainer Casey Zaugg has been focused on endurance nutrition and semi-professional mountain biking since 2010. He has raced all over Utah for the Utah Mountain Biking Team and provides a wealth of cycling knowledge to iFit members.

The series is ideal for the more advanced cyclist. To participate in this workout series, cyclists should be able to work at a high cadence, resistance or mixture of the two for a sustained period, ranging from 5 to 20 minutes. It’s a great program for those wanting to gain speed and endurance, and improve their cycling form and knowledge.

The iFit Global Workout Vietnam cycling series contains 15 workouts, each ranging from 30 to 40 minutes:

  1. Cu Chi Tunnel, Ho Chi Minh City
