New Fundraising Options for the 2021 Hospital Hill Run

Kansas City, MO – The Hospital Hill Run, Kansas City’s oldest running tradition, launched the 2021 Hospital Hill Run Official Fundraising Program in Partnership with Children’s Mercy. Funds raised will go directly to the ‘I love Children’s Mercy Fund,’ which provides advanced medical treatments, compassionate care, and world-class research to kids across the region.

Born out of the Kansas City medical community in 1974, the Hospital Hill Run has a long history of doing charitable work and serving as a healthy outlet for runners. As a not-for-profit organization, the Hospital Hill Run has given back over $130,000 to the community in just the last six years.

“Each year, we are looking for ways to increase our philanthropic impact on the Kansas City community,” said Lisa Drake, Race Director of the Hospital Hill Run. “Empowering our runners to fundraise for Children’s Mercy in 2021 gives more purpose to their miles while advancing our mission to improve the community’s health and well-being.”

All funds raised will go directly to the ‘I Love Children’s Mercy Fund,’ which provides medical treatments, care, and research for thousands in need.

Fundraisers can choose to run the Half Marathon, 10k, or 5k while fundraising as an individual or team member. Runners who raise $250, $500, and $1,000 will earn respective prize packages for their efforts. Prize packages include Children’s Mercy SWAG, Children’s Mercy Expo Bag’s, custom Hospital Hill Run Children’s Mercy t-shirts, and more.

“We believe our loyal running community will rally around this opportunity to give back to Children’s Mercy and provide hope and healing to so many in 2021,” said Drake.
