November 28, 2022
The leader in waterproof headphones evolves its tech from the pool to the running world
SAN DIEGO /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ –H2O Audio, a pioneer and world leader in waterproof audio products since 2003, will unveil its newest headphone technology at The Running Event (TRE), North America’s premier run specialty retail conference and trade show, Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 2002, in Austin, Texas. As H2O Audio gears up to celebrate 20 years of designing, inventing, and developing waterproof audio products, the company is now leveraging its vast experience to bring superior sound to all sports, beyond water.
Located at booth number 700, H2O Audio will premiere its new Tri Multi-Sport Headphones with Bluetooth and MP3 for the first time at TRE. Designed for running, swimming, biking, paddling, surfing, or snowboarding, the headphones combine H2O Audio’s latest bone conduction speakers, Bluetooth, MP3 player and the stable fit of a behind-the-neck headphone. They are designed to take on any sport – in and out of water. The Wall Street Journal named them “Next Generation Headphones” and said they “sound as crisp and clear underwater as they do above it.”
The open-ear design offers a comfortable and secure fit and allows runners to safely hear surroundings while on the move. You can stream from Bluetooth or load up to 8 GB of your own audio to its built-in MP3 player to listen anywhere without the distraction of a phone. It has up to 9 hours of battery life. They go beyond the IPX8 waterproof rating by being submersible in up to 12 feet of water for an unlimited amount of time.
H2O Audio will also display a collection of its other popular products at the show, including the Stream 3 Waterproof MP3 Player, which is a iTunes-compatible, state-of-the-art MP3 player with Bluetooth. The Stream is quickly taking over the discontinued iPod Shuffle. It detects headphones and optimizes the sound to match your headphones. Its Dual Mode technology allows you to use any of H2O Audio’s SURGE and SURGE Bone Conduction Underwater headphones.
“We have gained considerable knowledge as we have worked to perfect our headphone technology, and now we want every runner, triathlete, surfer, snowboarder, swimmer, and fitness enthusiast to enjoy their sport and their music,” said H2O Audio CEO and Founder Kristian Rauhala. “We are proud to lead the field in waterproof workout headphones, MP3 players and accessories not just for swimmers, but now for all runners and athletes.”
Rauhala is available to meet before the show by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or by visiting the H2O Audio booth during the conference.
