GFNY announces Michelob Ultra GFNY Ventura-California

New York City, April 22, 2026 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – GFNY is proud to announce Michelob Ultra GFNY Ventura-California, scheduled for April 11, 2027. The event will bring the GFNY race experience to one of Southern California’s most scenic and cyclist-friendly destinations, offering riders a unique combination of coastal beauty, challenging terrain and a vibrant outdoor lifestyle. Ventura is situated at the Pacific Coast, just an hour north of LA.

The competitive long distance race will cover 87 miles with 6500ft of climbing, while the recreational medium distance race will cover 47 miles, offering riders of different levels the opportunity to experience the stunning loop of Ventura County, passing through historic and enchanting towns of Santa Paula, Ojai and Carpinteria.

The race will start and finish at Mission Park from the heart of Downtown Ventura, where riders will take on a dynamic course featuring coastal roads, rolling terrain and challenging climbs. From the Pacific coastline to the surrounding hills and valleys, the course will showcase the natural beauty that makes Ventura a true cycling paradise.

For cyclists, Ventura—officially known as San Buenaventura- offers exceptional riding conditions, from scenic coastal routes to more demanding climbs. The area’s wide-open roads, ocean views and diverse terrain create the perfect environment for both competitive racing and recreational riding.

GFNY participants and their families will also have the opportunity to explore Ventura’s many attractions, including the Channel Islands National Park—often referred to as the “Galapagos of North America”—as well as an exciting Downtown that boasts 65 restaurants, 110 shops, 35 salons and relaxation venues. Additional outdoor activities include miles of beaches, hiking trails, the Ventura Harbor Village and numerous outdoor attractions that highlight the region’s natural beauty and welcoming atmosphere.
