SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 5, 2023) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – IRONMAN announced today that general registration for the 2023 Kaiser Permanente IRONMAN® California triathlon, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North America Series, has officially sold out. Limited entries remain available through The IRONMAN Foundation and Enhanced Athlete Event Experiences powered by NIRVANA. The event, which is scheduled for Sunday, October 22, is expected to see approximately 3,000 athletes take on the popular IRONMAN race in California’s Central Valley.

The 2023 Kaiser Permanente IRONMAN California triathlon will see athletes kick off their IRONMAN journey with a 2.4-mile downriver swim in the American River before athletes embarked on the 112-mile fast and flat bike course through the beautiful farm and wine country of Northern California. The 26.2-mile run course takes athletes along the Sacramento River before finishing in front of the State Capitol in downtown Sacramento. The 2023 Kaiser Permanente IRONMAN California triathlon offers slots to the 2024 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship races taking place in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i and Nice, France.
