FitnessBank and BibRave Hosting Competitive Step Challenge at Running USA Conference

February 7, 2020

Top five males and females with most steps win a Fitbit and FitnessBank SWAG pack, and one lucky winner will receive a complimentary entry into Running USA 2021, plus a free, in-depth marketing consultation with BibRave

Portland, OR – BibRave, the running industry leader in grassroots digital marketing, is partnering with FitnessBank – the ground-breaking lifestyle bank that rewards runners and active athletes who hit daily step goal averages per month with high interest rates.

The two companies are hosting a competitive step challenge at the The 2020 Running USA Industry Conference presented by Race Roster, which takes place Feb 9-11, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Caesars Palace hotel and conference center.

“Endurance event directors are a competitive bunch, and this is Vegas, baby,” said Danny Bourgeois at FitnessBank. “The step challenge at the Running USA Conference is a cool way for race directors to get to know the FitnessBank app, and we have a ton of prizes to reward not just the most steps, but also one lucky winner of the grand prize drawing.”

The step challenge begins Sunday and ends Tuesday, with the winners announced via the FitnessBank app, social media, and email by 12pm PST on Wednesday, Feb 12. The top five males and females with the most steps will win a Fitbit and FitnessBank SWAG pack, and one lucky winner will receive a complimentary entry into Running USA 2021, plus a free, in-depth marketing consultation with BibRave.

To enter the challenge, attendees need only to download the FitnessBank app, sync it to an activity tracker on their mobile device, join the “RUSA Conference Challenge,” and start stepping.

FitnessBank offers an inventive, exciting way for races to engage their participants, build excitement, and raise money for their organization or charity partners. Endurance events can leverage the FitnessBank Step Tracker app and create a Step Challenge that awards the event with payouts for app downloads and/or donations to nonprofit causes by collectively counting steps. The more app users, the more money the race makes, and the more steps counted, the larger the donation the race’s designated nonprofit receives.

“We’re so excited about how FitnessBank is changing the game when it comes to race sponsorship, healthy lifestyles, and personal finance,” said Tim Murphy, Co-Founder of BibRave. “We’re really excited to partner with them at the Running USA conference and stoke some creative fire among attendees. Let the step challenge begin!”
