Find a Race partners with Run Local®

California-based event company Run Local®, is working with Find a Race, the race calendar and event marketing platform, to grow its events amongst new and younger audiences.

April 24, 2026 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – California-based event company Run Local®, is working with Find a Race, the race calendar and event marketing platform, to grow its events amongst new and younger audiences.

Through their work together, Find a Race will promote Run Local® events to its huge audience of runners, helping their events grow and driving up registrations from key demographics, including Gen Z-ers new to running.

Since launching in the US in 2023, Find a Race has rapidly grown to have the largest audience of any race calendar, with 1 million monthly users.

Run Local® are owners of some of California’s largest and best-known races, including the Santa Barbara Half Marathon, the San Jose Half and the Oakland Marathon.

David Monico, Director of Marketing at Run Local® commented, “about 2 in 3 runners at our events in any given year are new, taking part in the race for the first time. So we’re always looking for marketing channels that get us in front of new audiences. With Find a Race, we have found a channel that raises visibility of our events amongst a large and highly targeted audience who might not otherwise know about our events.”

The collaboration will see the two organisations work together to grow participant numbers across Run Local’s event portfolio, with a focus on younger audiences.
