“Escape Race of The East” Sold Out

1,750 Athletes from 41 States to Participate in DelMoSports’ Escape the Cape Triathlon

Wildwood, NJ  (June 7, 2016) – Voted the Best Triathlon in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions by Competitor, the 4th Annual Vitargo Escape the Cape Triathlon Presented by AtlantiCare and Rothman Institute has also been included in a short list of bucket-list races by Triathlete Magazine and dubbed the “Escape Race of the East.” Held on June 12, 2016, the same day as the iconic Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco, 1,750 athletes from 41 states and 140 different triathlon clubs will start the race with a 12 foot jump off the Cape May-Lewes Ferry into the Delaware Bay, swimming ashore and then biking through the beautiful vineyards and back roads of Cape May county before running to the finish line. The race offers both Sprint and International distances for individual athletes and relay teams.
