“I have big goals in the sport this year, and I have the opportunity to step it up in my approach. I am making small but crucial adjustments to be at that next level on race day. It’s perfect to be working with deboer, they have the same attention to detail, and value the full process. A good swim puts me at the front of the race and gives me more control to get on that podium. My goal is to be in the first bunch on the bike having expended as little energy as possible. deboer helps me achieve that.”
Alex de Boer, co-founder of deboer wetsuits
“At the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice in 2019, Amelia showed she is not afraid to put it all on the line and take control of a race. Amelia is an intelligent racer that is detailed in her approach, but is not afraid to take risks when appropriate. We love that racers mentality, and we are proud that Amelia has chosen to swim in deboer. We look forward to playing our small role to help Amelia have her best swim to set up a great race!”
deboer is excited to partner with Amelia Rose Watkinson as she continues to push the pace and pursue Ironman & 70.3 titles in Australia, and around the world.
