$30 from every case of KINeSYS sunscreen will be donated to the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF)
CEO Challenges®, the world leader in sport competitions for CEOs and business owners, today announced a partnership with KINeSYS Performance Sunscreen to raise funds for the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF). KINeSYS will donate $30 to the MRF for every case of specially priced sunscreen that is purchased by CEO Challenge participants and alumni in 2013.
“In the last eight months I have had melanoma and a number of basal cell carcinomas removed from my back and chest,” stated Ted Kennedy, president of CEO Challenges. “As athletes we are outside in the sun a lot and long hours spent training in the sun can mean an increased risk of being diagnosed with melanoma. A high quality broad spectrum sunscreen is an imperative tool in protecting our skin. KINeSYS has been our partner for a number of years and offers the best sunscreen for very active people.”
The regular retail price for a case of KINeSYS sunscreen is $114 (4oz bottles, 700 sprays per bottle, 6 bottles per case). As part of this program, participants will be able to purchase a case for a discounted price of $90, and KINeSYS will donate $30 from that purchase to the MRF.
“Ted approached us to discuss the best way to get KINeSYS sunscreen to his CEOs while raising money for the MRF,” said Jeff Kletter, CEO of KINeSYS. “We are happy to partner with CEO Challenges on this initiative to educate people about the importance of proper skin care. It is our pleasure to offer a healthy incentive for the CEOs to purchase KINeSYS sunscreen, plus donate a large portion of the price to the MRF.”
“We encourage our CEO Challenge participants to buy multiple cases of KINeSYS sunscreen for themselves and their employees,” Kennedy said. “We feel that one of the best things a CEO can do for their employees is offer them protection away from the office, and giving them a gift of sunscreen, while raising money for the MRF, would be a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture.”
CEO Challenge competitors, past and present, are encouraged to contact CEO Challenges about how to place their order for KINeSYS sunscreen as we enter the summer months of intense and potentially damaging sunshine.
