October 14, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Ultra X will mark the final day of the Ultra X Nevada Experience with a community celebration at Blue Diamond Park on Friday, October 24th, presented in partnership with Friends of Red Rock, The Brett Torino Foundation, and Save Red Rock.
The Spring Mountains Celebration aims to bring together local residents, outdoor enthusiasts, and conservation partners to honor the beauty, culture, and recreational opportunities of the Spring Mountains region, a landscape that stands in stunning contrast to the nearby Las Vegas Valley.
“Ultra X exists to showcase the most spectacular natural environments in the world,” said Sam Heward, Co-Founder of Ultra X “This event is a celebration not just of the runners completing our five-day challenge, but of everyone who works to protect, explore, and enjoy the Spring Mountains.”
The event will feature appearances from leading community and conservation organizations, including the Southern Nevada Mountain Bike Association, Clark County Desert Conservation Program (alongside the much-loved mascot Mojave Max), Get Outdoors Nevada, and Desert Dash / Red Rock Canyon 100K. Each group will host talks and activities that highlight their ongoing efforts to protect and promote outdoor recreation in Southern Nevada.
Adding to the excitement, a free children’s race, the “Spooky Sprint,” will take place within Blue Diamond Park at 4:30PM, offering 1-mile and ¼-mile routes for young participants. The race aims to inspire the next generation of outdoor adventurers while drawing attention to the incredible work of the attending non-profits.
The day will culminate with an awards ceremony at 5PM, celebrating the athletes who complete the fifth and final stage of the Ultra X Nevada event, a 220km multi-day endurance event traversing the breathtaking terrain of the Spring Mountains.
