The iconic half marathon sells out for the 12th year in a row
SONOMA, Calif. Jan. 31, 2019 – The Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon has sold out for the 12th year in a row. Taking place on Sunday, July 21, the Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon is one of the most prestigious races in the country and is part of the 2019 Destination Races series.
More than 4,000 athletes from 47 states and 17 countries will race on this scenic course. The course starts at Cuvasion Estate Winery and offers athletes a beautiful course through the back roads, past scenic vineyards and farms finishing in historic Sonoma Plaza – site of Destination Races trademark Wine and Music Festival. The lively post-race festival features more than 20 exhibitor booths, tastings from 40 of Napa and Sonoma Valley’s finest wineries, food trucks, charity village and event merchandise store.
The race has been selected as one of the top half marathons in the world by numerous publications and websites, and is featured on most “must-do races” lists including the Top 20 Half Marathons BibRave 100 list. The race is a true destination for runners and offers much more than a scenic 13.1-mile course. Runners also receive:
