Britain’s most successful Ironman triathlete couple, Stephen and Bella Bayliss, have launched Bayliss Multisport, a triathlon coaching business supporting elite and age group triathletes as well as young children keen to experience the sport of triathlon.
Holding a combined 20 Ironman titles and a World ITU Championship between them, Stephen and Bella have been coaching since retiring from professional competition in 2013.
As the Head Coaches of the recently formed Bayliss Multisport, Bella and Stephen now share their extensive knowledge and experience of triathlon through successful online and on deck triathlon training programs. Bayliss Multisport is based on the Spanish island of Lanzarote.
Bella said: “After an amazing racing career I retired from racing professionally in 2013 and since then Stephen and I have built a great team of kids and adults.
“Over the past five years we have had kids and adults enjoying swim, bike and run as well as Champions in the Canarian Junior Championships, representatives at National Junior Championships, top 10 results at Ironman and 70.3 World-wide, a World Championship at Ultra Man and many more personal successes,” she said.
“We are excited to partner with Spirit Multisport to support our team with marketing and online services, as well as business development. We are excited to be part of a world-wide network of experienced coaches who share their knowledge to provide the best coaching services for athletes.”
Chief Executive Officer of Spirit Multisport, Tom Sutton, said: “Stephen and Bella’s professional background and their in-depth knowledge of triathlon makes them two of the most experienced coaches in the sport. They are offering training programs for all levels and ages and in particular, the triathlon camps are a great opportunity for any triathlete to fast-track their learning and fitness.”
“As a partner of Spirit Multisport, Stephen and Bella will contribute 5% of all revenue to the Spirit Foundation, the charitable arm of the organisation. These funds will be used to provide improved training opportunities, and grassroots triathlon events for children and young adults.”
