Ultra X launches Ultra X Scotland 2024

This epic event will take place the weekend of the 4th and 5th of May 2024 and will bring together passionate runners from around the world for an unforgettable adventure.

  • Ultra X Scotland a multi-stage ultra-marathon taking place over two days. It has a 2-stage 110km option and a 1-stage 50km option.
  • The race takes place in the stunning Loch Ness, taking in parts of the Great Glen Way and South Loch Ness Trail.
  • Ultra X 110 Scotland is a UTMB® World Series Qualifier in the 100K category.
  • Ultra X 50 Scotland is a UTMB® World Series Qualifier in the 50k category.
  • 2023 was the third time the event ran and it had it largest field yet – 450 runners and over 30 nationalities and 2024 is expected to bring 1,000 competitors to Inverness making this Scotland’s largest ultra marathon.
  • Registration to the 2024 edition opens on Monday 5th June 2023.
